To Kill A Mocking BirdThe Mill welcomes you to join our brand new book club!

If you’d like to explore novels a little deeper before putting them down, need a little encouragement to start that book you’ve always wanted to read or even if you just wish to revisit some of the books you studied at school, this is could be the book club for you.

 The next book up for discussion is Kingdom Come by J.G Ballard on Tuesday 18th October at 7.00pm. (then Nov 15th)

From Charles Dickens to Zadie Smith and Tennessee Williams to J.D Salinger, The Mill Book Club will cover a wide range of authors, texts and genres to suit everyone’s tastes. Come and discuss a wide range of themes within well-known works of fiction and share your opinions with others in a warm and friendly enviro nment.

Whether or not you are well-read or have been part of a book club before, The Mill Book Club aims to bring people in the community together through a common desire to read and to share ideas.

We meet on a monthly basis to discuss a previously agreed text with nibbles and refreshments.

All you need is willingness, enthusiasm and the ability to access the books!
