The exhibition looks at the festival of Eid- Al- Adha.
Celebrating the diversity, multiculturalism and tolerance of Islam, through a brief history showing the interconnection of the 3 religions of ‘The Book’ Christianity, Islam and Judaism; and how the Hindu festival of Diwali was celebrated by Muslim rulers in India.
In addition, this exhibition will also showcase 3 local British Indian and Pakistani female artists Sba Shaikh, Hamlila Patel and Tayyaba Gondal as a collaborative, to portray this diversity within London today.
The Mill will be celebrating Black History month, Eid-Ul-Adha and Diwali.
