Activities and discussion around childcare, past and present

The Doing It Ourselves: Imagining Childcare exhibition is hosting an event with free family activities and discussions on parent-led childcare. You can reserve a place on Eventbrite.

There will be discussions on childcare past and present and speakers including Jackie Fulton who was one of the people who started the First Neighbourhood Co-operative Nursery, and Lucie Stephens from the New Economic’s Foundation who are starting a new parent-led nursery in Deptford. There will be family art activities led by the brilliant Leslie from Scribble and Smudge, plus an hour long sound exploration workshop from Soundhoppers. Meet people interested in discussing the future of childcare. Buffet lunch and refreshments provided. Please help spread the word!
