Thank you to supporters and participants of this year’s Mill Quiz!
This year’s quiz was held on 23 April at Ye Olde Rose & Crown pub in Hoe Street. Six teams of Walthamstow’s wisest and wittiest competed in a classic quiz of 8 rounds , culminating in a grand finale and medal ceremony when members of the three winning teams were awarded customised gold, silver and bronze medals. The music round got the room rocking – and then there was the excitement of the raffle draw!
It was a great success and we raised nearly £200! We would like to thank everyone who came along. Particular thanks are due to Ye Olde Rose & Crown for free use of the Red Room and to Stow Brothers for donating the top raffle prize.
