Grow Your Tenner is back!
We’re taking part in Grow Your Tenner again this year. If you set up a regular donation of up to £10 to support The Mill for a year though Localgiving, they will double it for six months! The campaign launches at 10am on Tuesday 11 of December 2018.
The Mill is a bit different. We provide the space, resources and support for groups, events and activities, all run by local people who want to make something happen in Walthamstow. As a local, community-led organisation, charity fundraising and donations help us stay open.
A regular donation of:
- £3 will pay for a new volunteer to be recruited and inducted each month
- £5 keeps our lights on for a week every month
- £10 pays for art supplies for a session of our Junior Art Club every month
And if you set up a regular donation during Grow our Tenner, you’ll become a Friend of The Mill!

How does Grow Your Tenner work?
During Grow Your Tenner, direct debit donations set up through The Mill Localgiving page will be matched by up to £10. After your first six donations, the following six donations will be matched, that means that a monthly donation of £3, provides us with almost £60, and £10 a month will become £200, including Gift Aid if you are eligible!
To take part, you must set up your regular donation during the Grow Your Tenner campaign, which launches at 10am on Tuesday 11th of December 2018 and continues until whenever the match fund runs out or midday on Thursday the 10th January 2018 (whichever comes first).
