The Mill has organised the E17 Community Marquee, located on Fellowship Island, in Lloyd Park as part of the Walthamstow Garden Party. We will be showcasing a diverse range of local and grassroots organisations and services. This is your opportunity to find out what’s on offer in the local area.
You will be able to view In Her Footsteps a great photography exhibition from Share UK. For over 150 years, women in East London have been making the world a better place. Yet their achievements are often overshadowed by their male counterparts, or their stories lost completely. shines a light on these unsung heroes, giving them the recognition they deserve.
There will be a family play area for children to play, sit down and relax with toys supplied by Walthamstow Toy Library.
The winner of the recent Ideas Kitchen project, Tim Reedy, will be delivering 3, half hour Comic Book workshops on Saturday and Sunday. They are free and open to everyone of all abilities! Get in touch with your inner artist and create your own comic strip under the talented guidance of Tim.
