Hundreds of people called into The Mill on the weekend to enjoy the Carnival of the Animals, and make sure the day was a resounding success.
To help celebrate the most recent additions to The Mill family – beautiful model animals created by local children and families – people flocked here to listen to and read a spot of poetry, lend their hand to a massive collage, get their face painted, and soak up good music and some splendid home baking.
The day was organised by the incredible Mo, who kept order among the poets and encouraged the ‘inner artist’ in all of us. The collage will take pride of place on The Mill’s wall next week, and we were very proud to feature in the local press on Thursday.
