The Mill is open all week for all to call in – except on the following days:
- Monday 5 June – The Mill is open only in the evening on Mondays and only for those who have booked to join a particular activity (see below)
- Thursday 8 June – The Mill is a polling station for the General Election and will be open only for voters – our normal facilities will be closed all day
There are – as always – other activities taking place at The Mill, which are open to newcomers as well as regulars. So – read on for to find out more about these, including contact details of who is organising the activity so you can ask for details of cost and how to join in.
But … you don’t have to join an activity to call in. Everyone is welcome at The Mill whenever we are open . You can borrow a book from the honesty library, bring your little ones to enjoy all the toys in the playroom, make a cuppa and have a chat – and browse leaflets, flyers and posters on display to find out what else is going on throughout Waltham Forest. There’s always someone on reception to welcome you and give more information.

Our latest exhibition of artworks by local artists is part of the E17 Art Trail 2017. The exhibition has the theme of ‘Wonder’ so drop-in to view works in all media by local creatives showing what they find ‘curious and awe-inspiring’.

10am-12pm – Real Coffee @ The Mill – call in for the best (and cheapest) coffee in Walthamstow. Just £1 a cup + free home-made cantucci (almond biscotti).
