- Tues 29 March – 10am-6.30pm Making a Buzz.
Free event for all the family
From 10am-5pm, come along to The Mill for a day of family fun and find out what the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is doing to keep our bees buzzing at the Thames Water site, Coppermill Lane. There will be storytelling, arts and crafts, seed planting, and gardening for bees. Then from 5pm-6.3pm there will be a film presentation – The plight of the bumblebee – suitable for anyone aged 16+. There is a maximum of 35 places available, so please ensure you are early to get a seat.
- Sat 2 April – 10am- 4pm Craftivists: make a mini protest banner
Learn about the history of women activists in East London and make a mini protest banner. Open to all ages and abilities. Please note: this is not a training workshop, although the organisers are happy to support the less experienced…
