Weds 24 Feb, 14:00 – 14:30 – Mindfulness Training

Robert Beard has been training in mindfulness practice for over 30 years. He is offering a drop in taster session on Wednesdays at The Mill. This consists of a lead practice called ‘bringing the senses home’. It last for half an hour with a prompt start time and a brief introduction to the nature of mindfulness. Cost: donation with a suggested minimum of £5.

Wed, 24 February, 19:00 – 20:00 – Evening Relaxation Guided Meditation

Join Natalie France for a non-religious meditation which focuses on breathing, calming the mind and releasing any stress and tension from the body. There will be time at the end of the session to reflect on your experience. Sun 28 Feb, 11:30 – 13:00 – Community Breakfast

breakfastCome and meet your neighbours at this monthly favourite! Bring some breakfast food to share and use The Mill’s supplies of tea – including herbal – and coffee, hot water and milk (donation of 50p welcome). Enjoy a chat with friends old and new ….

Finally – do remember our doors are open Tuesday-Sunday and you don’t need to sign-up for or join in an activitiy. You can just drop-in to:

  • read a newspaper
  • make a cuppa
  • borrow a book from the honesty library
  • bring your children to enjoy the playroom
  • look at the latest art exhibition in the Living Room …*
