What’s On this week 29th July

All week, if you have children, why not drop into the living room any time – drawing materials, magazines, jigsaw puzzles available, all kids and adults welcome.  Plus Poetry corner – write a poem for the Mill animals – count the animals in the exhibition, pick one you like, and see what you come up with! (Poetry prompts and books to help) Details here.

Need advice? Wednesdays every week from 1-5pm , come and see Waltham Forest Advice Surgery. This is an opportunity for residents to access Waltham Forest Direct services at The Mill. Guidance on Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Free School Meals from an advisor.

Thursday 10.30 – 12 Drop in Art Club (note new time for the holidays) plus from 2 – 4pm write poems for the Mill anthology – Mo is on hand all day to help, where needed. See here   from more info. Also on Thursday 7-8pm , new for August, Ashtanga Yoga, suitable for all adults with no/little experience of yoga or those wishing to learn Ashtanga. Friday At 10am till 12 the Knitting Group meets regularly (also Wednesday at 6.30pm), admire the textile work of the “Softer” exhibition at the same time and on Saturday Alison, our volunteer coordinator, will be happy to chat to you about what you can do to help the Mill and be part of the Community –here is where you can sign up and find out more.
