What’s On this week beginning 5th August

All week: Hurry, hurry- Last chance to see the beautiful textiles exhibition Softer  which finishes on Saturday  and say goodbye to the Mill animals (Wildlife Reworked) as they leave us for the Vestry House Garden on Thursday 8th.

Monday 5th August (outside the Mill at 2pm) and at different days and times (see the Calendar for details): A new adventure starting at the Mill: Writing Life Histories- want to find out more about your local area? Meet Anna Arnone, and learn all the secrets of writing biographies and exploring the lives of the people who work in our beloved High Street.

Thursdays:  Remember we have drop in Art Club at 10-12.30. Don’t forget to enter poems for the Mill anthology on the Animal theme too, deadline 11 August. If you need help, Mo will be running Poetry Corner at 2-4pm. Also on Thursday,  7-8pm join in new Ashtanga Yoga or meet the Coppermill Poets at 7.30 (regular meetups)

Knitting Club continues on Wednesday 6.30-8 and Friday from 10-1pm

Coming up: We will soon be welcoming Waltham Forest Arts Club (opens on the 15th with a Meet the artists , 6 – 9pm in the evening-date for your diary!) and there is a call out for poems for the Anthology for another upcoming exhibition, Waiting (see website for latest info)
