Come to the next recruitment session for Circus Rosa at The Mill this Saturday.
An exciting chance for women and girls aged aged 10+ to learn to stilt walk for free with professional stilt walkers – with the potential opportunity to develop this skill, and perform on stilts as part of ‘The Big Summer Stilt Dance’ at a Summer carnival parade & event outside the Town hall on August 5th 2012.
The event is part of a Cultural Olympiad event in Waltham Forest entitled ‘Godiva Awakes’.
Recruitment days:
- May 19 10am – 1pm
- June 16 10am – 1pm
The project is being initiated in Coventry by Imagineer Productions with the creation of a giant Lady Godiva puppet which is being cycled down to Waltham Forest by the power of 100 cyclists:
