Our flourishing knitting group meets on Friday mornings from 10am to 12pm on Fridays. All are welcome, at whatever skill level – we come together to help each other, chat, and enjoy the friendly ambiance of the Mill.

Bring along your own project, or knit for charity – some of our knitters keep busy producing goods for Age UK. From time to time there are opportunities to get involved in community projects, such as our yarn-bombing for the Mill Fun Palace in October 2014.
If you are new to knitting, we’ll gladly teach you the basics. If you’re more advanced, but encountering problems, you should find someone in the group able to help you unravel them!
If you just want somewhere to knit or crochet, but aren’t so interested in joining a group, you are welcome to drop in any time during Mill opening hours and make yourself at home.
