Beginners Tai Chi @ The Mill is for anyone who wants to try this gentle exercise.
This 10-week course is suitable for all abilities and ages. Participants will learn Tai Chi exercises based on the Harvard Medical School Guide to Tai Chi and a whole form called Yang 8-Step Tai Chi. Medical research into Tai Chi from China, the US, UK and Europe have proven its health benefits for strengthening muscles, improving balance and body coordination, improving mental focus, cognitive flexibility and function.

Bel Calaguas is a qualified Tai Chi and Qigong instructor from the Deyin Taijiquan Institute. She is an instructor of Dao Lu CIC, a community organisation based in Waltham Forest that promotes tai chi training for wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle. Bel is a Tai Chi practitioner for over 10 years.
