Our latest open call exhibition – “What’s On Your Mind?” – will be on display at The Mill from:

Tuesday 12 November 2024 until Sunday 5 January 2025
With a break over the Christmas and New Year holidays, when The Mill will be closed.

We invited local artists (of all ages and abilities) to submit work on the theme of “What’s on Your Mind?” – the full brief being:

What does this title mean to you? Are you dreaming of something beautiful or something sad? Are you worried about climate change or our NHS? Perhaps it’s a collage of things, people, places and feelings. Whatever it is and however you would like to express it, this exhibition is an opportunity to show the way we experience ourselves and the world we live in. The theme is open to your own inspiration and we are looking forward to a diversity of works.

We have received a wide diversity of works in different mediums showing the many different ways in which artists have interpreted the theme.

Some of the works will be on sale – so you will have a chance to purchase an original art work.
The Mill retains 20% commission, so you will be supporting not only a local artist, but also The Mill.

The exhibition is free to view, and we look forward to welcoming you.
