Thank you to all those who attended the Ideas Kitchen Community Dinner on 18 June at Gnome House! It was a fantastic night with amazing performances from X7even Performing Arts School and the Barbican’s very own Abby Asante! The pitches were all very inspiring including fan dancing from a local Tai Chi School and Community Speed dating! Congratulations to Tim Reedy, a local cartoonist, the winner of the first Ideas Kitchen!
See Tim in action at the Walthamstow Garden Party in The E17 Community Marquee, he will be delivering three, half hour comic book workshops. They are free and open to everyone of all abilities! Get in touch with your inner artist and create your own comic strip under his talented guidance.
The next round of applications opens at Walthamstow Garden Party, so get your creative thinking caps on! We are looking for anybody, age 16 or over who lives, works, studies or volunteers in Waltham Forest and has a creative idea that will benefit the community to apply! Lets get great things happening in our local area designed by the community, for the community!
