In 2015, The Mill was lucky to secure funding from the Big Lottery Fund to
provide a series of challenging and creative activities lead by talented local
artists. Residents were able to access free workshops involving sculpture,
creative writing, poetry and animation, Matisse style cut-ups and mosaic-
making.
Filmmaker, Hatt Reiss, worked with a group of local residents in September
and October 2015, to produce their own animations as part of our Step Up

The results of these amazing nine months of creativity are now on display in our Community Art Space, The Living Room, until 2 April 2016.
