This week most of our regular sessions continue – and you can find out more by clicking on the activity in the calendar on the righthand side of this web page (or elsewhere on mobile devices) – or just call in Tuesday-Sunday. There’s always someone on reception who will welcome you and be able to give you more information.
And this week sees the return of three monthly events – coffee, cycling and chess …
Real Coffee Freshly Brewed @ The Mill is on Tuesday 2 February, 10am-12pm. For just £1 you can enjoy a long black, espresso or latte with home-made biscotti.
Chess is on Sunday 7 February, 11am-1pm. These sessions are for beginners and improvers aged 11+. What to bring? A few chess sets will be available, but if you have one, please bring your own set. What to pay? We ask for a minimum donation of £2 (all proceeds to The Mill).
The Mill Bike Club’s Sunday Cycle is also on Sunday 7 February and will be a good way to enjoy this unusually mild weather. This is a gentle 2-hour cycle paced well for all ages and abilities to join others in exploring the River Lea and surroundings and stopping for a cup of tea en route. Meet at 11am in front of The Mill to depart at 11.15am. For more details, contact katjarosenberg@hotmail.com – 07799 411 587
