Jackson Pollock, an influential and controversial 20th century American artist, is well known for his characteristic drip painting style, which has been called action painting by art experts. One of the great artists from the abstract expressionist movement, Pollock’s ideas and style have influenced many other artists. At this mad and messy workshop on Saturday 12 December 2015 from 2pm to 3pm, you’ll learn how to express your emotions with the movement of your body, letting the paint express how you feel and you’ll explore the different grades of paint viscosity and the power of colour. This Paint-a-Pollock workshop is full of dripping, splashing and splattering fun and is an unmissable event for children and adults.
