What’s on this week – Mon 30 Nov to Sun 6 Dec

We’re looking forward to welcoming you this week – whether it’s to attend a particular activity or just to relax in the living room with a cuppa (supplies available for a small donation) and enjoy the artwork on the walls of the living room; the current exhibition is on the theme of Transform.

Some regular activities are weekly and some are monthly – and this week there are four which take place just once a month.

Real coffee @ The Mill is normally on a Tuesday, but this month is on Friday – 4 December, 10am-12pm. And – it’s usually £1 a cup + free home-made biscotti, but thanks to sponsorship from Ascham Homes it will be free coffee and free cake!

Even though it’s winter, the Gardening Group will be meeting on Saturday 5 December, 11am-1pm – so do call in and see how you can help keep the garden looking good for all seasons.

chessOn Sunday 6 December, 11am-1pm you could ‘make your moves’ by joining the Chess Club – which welcomes all aged 11+ who are either beginners or improvers. There are some spare boards, but if you have your own do bring it with you.

Or are you feeling more energetic?

Also on Sunday 6 December the Mill Bike Group will be meeting at 11am for a gentle 2-hour cycle in the local area. But perhaps best to check first with Katya – katjarosenberg@hotmail.com or 07799 411 587 – who will be keeping a weather eye open …

For everything else going on this week, take a look at the separate calendar on this page (righthand side if viewing from a desktop/laptop – elsewhere if viewing from a mobile device) and click for more information about how to join in and if there is any cost. Or – just call in; there’s always someone on reception who can tell you more about what’s going on.
