A big welcome to our first two Lea Bridge groups!
Lea Bridge Baby Social started this Friday. Babies up to eighteen months with their carers are welcome to come and join the group, which will be taking place for free every Friday between 1pm and 3pm.
And the Up Your Street seniors group will be meeting for free from Monday 13th. Meetings will take place every Monday between 12pm and 2pm (except bank holidays) so that older residents can meet their neighbours, chat, enjoy tea and biscuits with other local residents, and listen to talks by a variety of invited speakers:
- 13 May – David Boote on local history
- 20 May – Mary Fahey on the benefits of meditation (with a 20 minute practical session)
- 3rd June – tbc
- 10 June – Norman Pinter on his Palestine trip
- 17 June – Marcella on her trip to Sierra Leone
- 24 June – Rasheeqa from HedgeHerbs on natural medicines
