Update & Thank You from Lea Bridge

It has been a wonderful few weeks hearing about all the ideas in Lea Bridge neighbourhood for using the community room. Even more that some of these have made it on to paper for the steering group to consider, so that things are about to start happening on Mondays and Fridays in the building.

A special big thank you to those members of the local community who have volunteered their time, skills and local knowledge to the steering group. I can announce that four activities are going to be starting in the next two weeks, and we will post about them separately on the website in the next few days. We will also put information on the noticeboard in the library.Individual Asset Audit2 - copia

We will then move on to consider activities that could happen at other times of the week and over the summer. Please watch this space for when we are ready to do this.

We are also looking at options for an enews service that people can sign up to (and unsubscribe from if they want to at a later date). In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to email me, or leave a note in the postbox at the library, if you would like to be added to the email list for this project.

I am growing to love the Lea Bridge Library building and its friendly community of users and residents. I am looking forward to spending lots of time here in the coming months, as we make things happen together.

I really look forward to working with some of you soon.

Best wishes, Alison
