Star Wars Day was marked in style at The Mill today, as two hundred local Jedis and Siths joined us to celebrate this Galactic holiday.
Over sixty local children made light sabres and completed Jedi training, dozens of faces were painted and cakes consumed. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all our wonderful volunteers!
Because of you we were able to raise over £400 for The Mill to ensure that we can continue to run community events like this one. Thank you especially to Charlie and Harry for coming up with the idea and encouraging their parents to make it happen.
The Best Costume competition was won by four imaginative local youngsters. Congratulations to Douglas, Ella, Molly and Lola. And congratulations to Oliver who won the quiz!
