Hello people!!  Come along to take part in some new activities happening at The Mill. Artist Kirsten Schmidt is coming in to hold a printmaking workshop and  the  Wandering and wondering team are introducing  an evening of poetry , music and storytelling so do join them. The senior citizens group “The Coppermill `Recycled Teenagers” and their leader Sue Clarke meet, they devise a variety of activities and discussions. They have room for more members. Small donation is welcomed.

Friday Night at The Mill, an evening of Stories and Music, played by Lennie , Manuel and friends with story teller Alia. Listen to their wondering tales and wander the world with their music. Bring your poems, and stories and take part. Entry by donation of £5.

10:00 – 13:00  Stilt recruitment and training session/Free Stilt walking session
An exciting chance for women & girls aged 11+ to learn to stilt walk for free with professional stilt walkers – with the potential opportunity to develop this skill, and perform on stilts as part of ‘The Big Summer Stilt Dance’ at a Summer carnival parade & event outside the Town hall on August 5th 2012.

13:00 – 15:00 Blackhorse Action Group drop-in session
Representatives of BAG will be at The Mill in Coppermill Lane and are looking forward to meeting you at drop-in sessions. This will be a chance to chat, to learn more about what BAG is, what it does – and, importantly, to let us know what you would like BAG to do and if you would like to be more actively involved. We need more residents to become involved so that we can be truly representative of all in the neighbourhood – so please come along to The Mill.

Spanish is a fun and easy language to learn. This course is aimed at beginners and improvers and you will learn how to ask for information, get around, order food and drink and start basic conversations.  I am a native Spanish speaker, with a teaching qualification from the UK, so why not get enrolled and enjoy a Spanish adventure! Children create a portfolio of animal prints: crocodiles, lizards, snakes, turtles and star fish and more. Suitable for children aged 8 – 12 (places limited to 8 children) quality materials supplied and children keep their work.
Workshops start on Saturday 16 June, 4 – 5 pm and run for 5 weeks. Price is £25 per child and payment is made  to See ‘n’ Make.
