Grow Your Own Theatre, Walthamstow’s brand new youth theatre making shows from scratch with young people, has its very first show next Monday 26 March at 7pm at Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre Pub.
The six members aged between 11 and 15 have been working hard to create, develop and now ready to perform an original show called Locked In. Locked in an art room after school, six members wonder why are they there? And what do they do now? A show full of secrets and surprises.

The next term of youth theatre starts again on 1st May at The Mill Community Centre.
Grow Your Own Theatre is a social enterprise set up by local resident and drama teacher Sarah Chase to provide affordable, inclusive and creative drama classes in Walthamstow. Sarah says ‘The youth theatre members have shown such commitment and inventiveness. I am looking forward to showing E17 audiences what our young people are really made of!’
