Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditation practice and a state of mind, accessible to all. Lying down in savasana, you are guided, through a sequence of steps, into a profound state of conscious relaxation.
The benefits of being deeply relaxed while consciously aware of your subconscious are many….
Alleviate stress, sleep issues and anxiety; heal trauma; increase mental focus;
get rid of habits that no longer serve you; restore and heal your body;
access your creativity and quieten the mind.
Through the use of an intention or sankalpa you can also
guide your life in the direction you want it to go.
You just listen to the instructor. The practice can be easily maintained at home, using a recording or – once you have learned the basic steps – without one.
Unlike other forms of meditation, which people can find difficult to ‘get into’, it is incredibly easy to do.
