write17 Writers’ Group

write17 is a place for local writers to spend time on their own writing projects in a friendly space with other writers. Writers have the opportunity each session to share what they’ve been working on, ask for feedback and discuss their writing project with the rest of the group.

Any genre and level is welcome. Members are currently working on: plays, creative writing, short stories, novels, murder mysteries, memoir, to name a few!

Some members are professional freelance writers, others are coming back to it after a long time off and some are finally giving themselves the space to start something they always wanted to create but never found time for. Whatever your background, you are welcome at write17.

Fortnightly on Sundays, starting again on Sunday 19th January 2025. £2 a session.
