This method can be applied to a large variety of wind instruments such as: the Native American flute, Overtone flutes such as the Fujara and the Tilinca (or Telenka), many Mouth Harps such as the Dan Moi and the Marranzanu, the Recorder, the Didgeridoo, the Trombone, the Trumpet, the Ocarina, the Tuba, the Hulusi, the Panpipes, and many more…

Schedule

10:00 am – Start, introduction, exercises for preparation
10:30 am – Unlocking the potential of the breath as your ally
11:15 am – Rhythms – Building blocks – part 1
Noon – Lunch break (drinks and munches provided, but bring your main)
12:30 pm – Rhythms – Building blocks – part 2
1:00 pm – Composition or Rhythm patterns
1:40 pm – Integration in jamming exercise
2:00 pm – Closing

The Mill is a beautiful community centre in Walthamstow, 3 minutes walk from St James’s Street station on the “Weaver” overground line. It is also close to the Victoria line and the “Suffragette” overground line (Walthamstow Central station and Blackhorse Road station). The workshop will be held in the Garden Room of the centre, a perfect size indoor room with windows to the garden.

Tickets

The tickets are £40, and £30 for people with low income. The spaces are limited as we want to keep the circle small, do not wait too long to decide:)
