Learn how to walk with poles (Nordic Walking). This is the second session and will introduce you to Nordic Walking using poles with straps. The session will include:
- Introduction to walking with poles with straps
- Warm up (mobility) exercises
- Using poles to walk more easily and improve fitness
- Cool down stretches
- Advice on buying your own poles
The group is limited to six places. Ideally, you should have attended the session on May 12. On successful completion of both sessions (May 12 and 19) you will gain a Freedom Passport that will enable you to join any suitable Nordic Walking UK walk or class.
The class is at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre at 10 am. Walkers may meet at The Mill at 9.40 am and walk down with Liz to the sports centre.
