Playing with Colour

The Mill’s first exhibition in 2020 was interrupted by Coronavirus lockdown.

But – now that lockdown restrictions have eased and The Mill is open we have  extended the exhibition until Friday 28 August 2020.

However, opening hours are currently restricted to 10.30am-2.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and – possibly – some Sundays. Please check our current opening hours …

Works are by local artists who have responded to an open call for work in any medium which explores the playful and expressive nature of colour in art. We had a record number of 70+ submissions and all are now on the walls of our living room area.

The exhibition is free to view – just drop in whenever we are open
Some works are for sale so you can also buy an original piece of art. You will be supporting both local artists and The Mill – artists will retain 80% of proceeds and give 20% to The Mill.
