Open-Call Art Exhibition – “Home” – hand-in dates

The exhibition will be on display at The Mill from 17 September to 27 October 2024

Local artists are invited to submit work(s) on:

• Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 September – 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September – 10am to 2pm

Theme – “Home”

• What does ‘home’ mean to you?
• Is it a terraced house in Walthamstow or a window in a tower block?
• A street, a city or even a country?
• Is it somewhere far away that, one way or another, you may never go back to?
• Of is it, in the words of Lee Marvin “Wherever I lay my hat … “ … ?

This is a chance for you to showcase, and sell, your work
at a community centre known to be a hub of creativity and art.

The exhibition will be free to view for the
80+ people who come to The Mill each week.

Terms and conditions apply

• Up to 3 pieces per person
• 2D work only – ie must be able, and ready, to be wall-hung
• Submission fee £10 per piece (£5 concessionary fee per piece for unwaged).
