Grow Your Own Theatre is one of the pioneer Mill groups – Sarah from Grow your Own Theatre is running a FREE drop-in session (funded by LBWF Community Living Rooms funding) where children aged 3-6yrs can make their very own pet dragon, and then find out all about them…
Make a pet dragon, name it and learn all about their tricks and treats. What does your dragon eat, and how do we get more? Make a home for your dragon. Get to know how they like to sleep happily with a special song or a story, and learn what your dragon wants to share with just you. Finally take your dragon home for more adventures!
This is the first of two free drop-in sessions to introduce Sarah and Grow Your Own Theatre to a new audience. You will be able to book for Seedlings classes starting in May. Seedlings are drama and making classes for 3 – 6 year olds. Children make something and use it to inspire stories and adventures! As we are child-led and child-focused, no two sessions will ever be quite the same.
The second free session is Saturday 4th March – we will be making treasure boxes and digging for ancient treasures!
