This exhibition will be on display – and free to view – from Tuesday 16 September to Saturday 1 November 2025 during Mill open hours.
Local artists – of all ages and abilities – responded to a call-out to submit monochrome works, using either a classic black & white theme, or different tones of one colour. The subject and material choice were open.
We’ve been delighted to receive 51 works from 30 artists – all showing a diversity of ways of working in monochrome, and showing this can be just as exciting and appealing as working in full colour.
Some works are available for sale, so you’ll have a chance to purchase an original piece of art by a local artist.
