Make Your Own Exihibition

Help us create a community drawing exhibition at The Mill.

We are inviting everyone and anyone in our local community to do a drawing to make an exhibition which will reflect the diversity of our local community.

• Come and pick up a free card to draw on at The Mill or at home, and pin it up on our wall.
• Everyone is welcome to participate – people of all ages and of all abilities.

Don’t by shy – give it a try! – You do not have to be an artist to express yourself with a drawing.

What to do

• Take a card off the wall or ask for one at the reception desk.
• There are word cards on the wall for inspiration, or just draw what you like.
• There are supplies of pens and pencils and even some scrap paper to doodle while you decide what to do.
• Or take a card home and bring it back when it’s done.
• Use your imagination and draw things the way you remember them. It doesn’t have to be good.
• Remember to put your drawing up on the wall when you’ve finished.

All the drawings together will begin to take on meaning about the community we live in.
We can’t wait to see what you draw!
