INTERWOVEN Art Exhibition – submission dates

“Interwoven” will be our first open-call exhibition for 2025 and will be open from Tuesday 13 May to Sunday 22 June 2025.

Local creatives working with textiles are invited to submit work(s) during Mill open hours on Tuesdays to Sundays – ie:

• Tuesday 29 April to Friday 2 May – from 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May – from 10am to 2pm
• Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 May – from 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May – from 10am to 2pm

Whether you knit, embroider, sew, quilt or use other textile techniques as all or part of your work, we are looking forward to submissions which:

• Weave a tale – or
• Are purely decorative – or
• Have a practical use – or
• Have a statement to make – in fact …
• In the words of William Morris – “are beautiful or useful”

This is a chance for you to showcase, and sell, your work
at a community centre known to be a hub of creativity and art.

The exhibition will be free to view for the
80+ people who come to The Mill each week.

Terms and conditions apply

• Up to 3 pieces per person
• 2D work only – ie must be able, and ready, to be wall-hung.
• Submission fee £12.50 per piece or £6 concessionary fee per piece for unwaged.
