If you live locally and are looking for an opportunity to be a bit more active why not drop in to The Mill to meet us and learn more about Green Hearts, an exciting new project we deliver at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre in Coppermill Lane.  We want to give you the opportunity to exercise on your own terms in a safe and quiet green space to help you to improve your physical and mental health.

A mile-long Green Hearts path has been marked out around the perimeter of the playing field with quarter mile posts so that you can track the distance you walk or jog each day and monitor your improvement over time. The path can be used each day during daylight hours, it is FREE to take part and all abilities are welcome. You can exercise at your own pace, at a time that suits you and no special equipment or clothing is required. Each Saturday morning we hold a Welcome session to provide support for new participants.

We will be handing out leaflets and registration forms in the lobby at The Mill from 11.00am and then at 1.00pm our Green Hearts Activator John Harkin will lead a short walk from The Mill to Douglas Eyre Sports Centre and around the Green Hearts path.
