G.L.O.W Gently Light Our Way Exhibition

The G.L.O.W. exhibition is a culmination of art work produced over 10 weeks with a group of local residents at the Mill.

The art work on display is inspired by ‘light’ which occurs in the dark spiritually, fugitively and literally. Residents met on a Monday afternoon in the Mill’s living room to create their work.

Over the 10 sessions the group took time to explore the theme of light using different mediums to express themselves all the while asking themselves these questions; where does it occurs? Why it is important? How does it make us feel?

We hope you enjoy viewing the art work as much as we have done creating it and can decipher the various forms of light on display.

The Mill commissioned NBAM to engage local residents for G.L.O.W– it was a wellbeing through creativity project. For information about NBAM and similar project they have delivered please go to their website listed below.
