Don’t Grow Up! – an art exhibition celebrating childhood

DON’T GROW UP!

This  exhibition will be on display:

Tuesday 14 November to Friday 22 December 2023 – and then (after a break for Christmas and New Year)
Saturday 6 to Sunday 21 January 2024.

This latest open-call exhibition has attracted submissions from 29 artists – and there are 36 works on the walls of our living room area. Artists were invited to submit works on the theme of childhood and the experience of growing up.

The exhibition shows the many individual ways in which this theme has been interpreted and includes works in a variety of mediums, including some 3D works and poetry.

The exhibition is free to view – just drop in whenever we are open. Our weekday and weekend open hours are:

• Tuesday to Friday – 10am-5.30pm
• Saturday & Sunday 10am-2pm

Some works are for sale so you can also buy an original piece of art. You will be supporting both local artists and The Mill – artists will retain 80% of proceeds and give 20% to The Mill.
