CreativiTEA is a therapeutic and expressive intervention using art making to facilitate communication and to promote health and wellbeing. Sessions are facilitated by an experienced HCPC Art Therapist who creates a safe, supportive space for exploration of feelings. Sessions will be 1.5hrs long, capped to six people only per session and are open to residents of Waltham Forest (18yrs+) especially to those living in the High Street Ward.
These sessions are specifically for people who have experienced the loss of a loved one/s or maybe a colleague/s due to Covid-19. Grieving can be a very lonely, emotional and traumatic place, perhaps even more so if the loss has been associated to Covid-19, whereby one may have been in lockdown, or perhaps unable to see a person in hospital or to attend their funeral. CreativiTEA offers an opportunity for people to come together (at a safe distance) to share their experiences and emotions.
Each CreativiTEA session will be centred on a creative theme, allowing time for making and reflection. All sessions and art materials are provided for free.
