Art Exhibition – “Home” – submission dates

The exhibition will be on display at The Mill from Tuesday 17 September to Sunday 27 October

Local artists are invited to submit work on:

• Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 September 2024 – 9.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 2024  – 10am to 2pm

Theme – “Home”

What does home mean to you? Is it a terraced house in Walthamstow or a window in a tower block? Perhaps it’s a street, a city, even a country? Is it somewhere far away that, one way or another, you may never go back to? Or is it, in the words of Marvin Gaye “Wherever I lay my hat … ”

This is a chance for you to showcase, and sell, your work
at a community centre known as hub of creativity and exhibitions.

The exhibition will be on display and free to view
by the 80+ people who come to The Mill each week.

Terms and conditions apply

• Up to 3 pieces per person
• Submission fee £10 per piece (£5 concessionary fee per piece for unwaged).
• Works must be able, and ready, to be wall-hung (we regret we cannot accept 3D work).
• If you would like to submit a brief statement of why your work means ‘home’ to you – we can include that in the catalogue. Please – just one or two sentences. Thank you!
