Art Exhibition – “Heroes” – call out for submissions & hand-in dates

The Mill’s next exhibition – “Heroes” – will be on display from 16 April to 25 May 2024.

We are inviting artists of all ages and abilities to submit work which celebrates those who have shaped our world, inspired change, or even the unsung heroes in our daily lives.

• The theme is open to your own inspiration and we are looking forward to a diversity of works.
• Works can be in any medium, but must be ready to hang with string attached.
• We will also welcome 3D works, but there is limited space for these, so before submitting, please send details to artworks@themille17.org for consideration.

This is your chance to exhibit and potentially sell your work in a public space and we particularly welcome work from new and budding creatives.

SUBMISSION DATES ARE 
Tuesday 2 to Sunday 7 April
during the following open hours:

Tuesday to Friday – 9.30am to 5.30pm
Sunday and Saturdays – 10am to 2pm

Terms and conditions apply:

• Up to 3 pieces per person. Submission fee £10 per piece (£5 concessionary fee per piece for unwaged).
• Works must be “ready to display”
• Works must be accompanied by payment and a completed entry form; the form includes full terms & conditions and can be downloaded from the link below.
