What an incredible journey! Richard has returned to The Mill after 7 weeks of walking to raise money for The Mill and celebrate his 70th birthday. He smashed through the initial goal, totalling over 830km and incredibly taking more than 1,045,000 steps!!
We celebrated with Richard who was given a Lego trophy from the Lego Club, a handmade rosette from the Sewing Club, and a special The Mill medal.
Amazingly, Richard raised over £5700 for The Mill! The local community wholeheartedly congratulate Richard on achieving such an amazing feat, raising money for this special place called The Mill, and supporting our vibrant and diverse community! The money raised will go towards the running of The Mill so it can stay open and be here for everyone!
