Thank you for all the suggestions to name the new resident of our Children’s Room. The name picked out of the hat on Apple Day for our beautiful, gloriously coloured Chameleon is George!
George was made over one weekend in the Summer holidays by about 50 children, parents and carers. Vanessa Brightwell, artist, designer and maker, with her team of volunteers, helped to guide and encourage children, many of whom were very young, to fully explore their creative talents. Lots of paint and glue went into the mix ! Everyone had a fun time.
