Swift Talks Afternoon

Join us for an afternoon of learning, inspiration and fun.

A series of short talks, film and exhibits related to wildlife and history, featuring:
- ‘Swifts – Walthamstow’s Fastest Bird’, a talk by Edward Mayer, Swift Conservation (see bio)
- ‘Wildlife on the Wetlands’ – a talk from Stephen Ayers, Lead Community Engagement Volunteer, London Wildlife Trust at Walthamstow Wetlands (he will also be showing his wildlife films)
- Discover archaeological finds with Helen Hawkins, Senior Project Manager, Pre-Construct Archaeology (see bio and more info on the archaeological investigations at Ferry Lane, Walthamstow)
- Wetlands artist in residence, Silvia Krupinska, will be around to chat about her work
- Tea and cake sale
