The deadline for submitting work is Sunday, 21 May 2017.
What makes you wonder? Ferns? Fractals? Snowflakes? Space flight? We are inviting works in all media from local creatives about the curious and the awe-inspiring.
This group exhibition will feature as part of the 2017 E17 Art Trail. The theme for this year’s Art Trail is STEAM, the acronym that recognises the place of Art alongside the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Submitting a piece to Wonder is a great way to be part of the Art Trail. We welcome pieces from everyone, including first time Art Trail participants and artists who may already have another Art Trail show planned and want the opportunity to exhibit additional pieces.
The exhibition will officially open at the Mill on Thursday, 1 June 2017 and will stay up until Saturday, 1 July 2017. Opening hours are Tuesday – Friday 9.30am – 6pm, Friday and Saturday – Sunday 10am – 2pm.
As part of the E17 Art Trail Preview/Press Night, the exhibition will be open on the evening of Thursday 1 June 2017.
We will be holding special a Meet the Artist event at a different time and date (TBC).
Please do share this with anyone who might be interested and get in touch with us at artworks@themill-coppermill.org with any questions.
