The Mill is a community space run for, and by the community. We rely on volunteers to keep the building open six days a week. Hundreds of people help out at The Mill every month, and there are many ways you can get involved. Whether you can spare 2 hours a week or 20, we would love to hear from you!

We’re particularly looking for people to join our Comms Team, helping to keep our website up to date, running our social media accounts and coordinating our monthly email newsletter. Ideal if you’ve got a few hours a week to spare, and you can do most of the work in your own time at home.
If you’re good with a screwdriver and paintbrush, we need a Handy Person to help out on an occasional basis with minor repairs to keep the building in tip top condition and be on call in case of emergencies!
We also need Receptionists, to help to welcome people into the building, keep the tea and coffee topped up and answer enquiries.
