Meet the Artist and Local Collaborators on October 6th 6-8pm
Tales from the Marsh unearths the magnetic pull of Walthamstow and Leyton Marshes in this collage of local people’s narratives, reminiscence, poetry, artwork and photographs.
Through creative workshops and walking conversations, artist Siobhan O’Neill has carved out a space for inhabitants to reflect on their diverse lived experiences of the Marshes.
Exhibited here in snapshots of childhood freedom, evocations of natural beauty, treaties for common land and agitations against urban development.
