Tuesday 9 February, 3pm-8.30pm. Public Exhibition of development plans for the site of the old cinema on Buxton Road.  What do you think of plans for developing this site to provide 48 new flats? Come along to the exhibition, see what is planned, and let the developers know what you think.

hennaWednesday 10 February, 10.30am-2pm – “Women Empowered Capability” is a free workshop provided by ELATT Connected Learning. Come and enjoy yourself in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere – sample international dishes and learn new skills. There’ll be henna, African braiding, nails and crochet. stepup01Thursday 11 February, 6pm-8.30pm, Grand Celebration of Step-Up. Join us to celebrate the Step Up activities which have taken place at The Mill in the last nine months. Refreshments will be provided so if you would like to attend, please contact neesha@themill-coppermill.org and will make sure there are plenty of drinks ‘n nibbles for all! Even if you can’t attend this Thursday, you can still see what it was all about by visiting The Mill over the next 6 weeks to see a showcase exhibition in the Living Room.

Finally – do remember our doors are open Tuesday-Sunday for you to drop-in, read a newspaper, make a cuppa, borrow a book from the honesty library, and/or bring your children to enjoy the playroom. There’s always someone on reception to welcome you.
