This week see’s the return of two very popular activities.
Kids Art Club starts again on Thursday 14 January at 3.30pm. This is a drop-in club for children aged 3 – 8 years (who must be accompanied by an adult) and is a series of 5 themed sessions of creative activity in a gentle non-competitive space. Make art for the children’s room or to take home. £1 per child per session.
Ukulele workshops start again on Friday 15 January, 3pm-4pm. The workshops cost £3 each and operate on a drop-in basis. They give participants the opportunity to come together and make music in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will not need to ‘know’ anything about making music or playing the ukulele to participate. There will be a small number of ukuleles and some percussion instruments available for people to use during the sessions. If you already have an instrument please do bring it along with you. A previous participant described the sessions as “a gas” – really fun and friendly.
Details of these and all other activities this week are in the calendar – on the righthand side of this web page (or elsewhere on mobile devices). And the doors are always open if you just want to drop-in to look at the art in the living room, make a cuppa, read a newspaper, browse the honesty library or use the children’s playroom.
